Troop 777 Memorabilia

This page is showcases memorabilia from the early history of Troop 777.

We owe much gratitude to , past Scoutmaster, for collecting and safeguarding these items.

Junior Leader Training

The banner is from the Junior Leader Training (JLT) in 1972 when the Troop was only 3 years old!

Through the years, JLT has undergone several changes and is today known as Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST).

Signatures on the banner include Mr. Herb Hurst, our first Scoutmaster and the following Scouts:

  • Mark Oliver
  • Greg Case, Eagle Scout #5
  • Brad Hurst, Eagle Scout #6
  • Carl Grounds, Eagle Scout #8
  • John Norris, Eagle Scout #9
  • Bradley Gardner, Eagle Scout #14
  • Cliff Rote

Eagle Courts of Honor

We are fortunate to have a scrapbook that shows the Eagle Court of Honor history of our first 24 Eagle Scouts.

The scrapbook is beautifully constructed, with the cover made of actual wood covered with a clear epoxy glazing.

What is presented below is essentially the same information contained in the scrapbook, but slightly reformatted to allow for a better digital presentation.
